S.O.S. Wheelchair Trails Society's vision is to create an accessible trail network for those with mobility issues. ​ 

Their mission is to expand trails locally in the South Okanagan Similkameen and the surrounding area.​ 
To improve access to lakes and beaches so all can enjoy the water and both swim and fish. ​ 
To improve KVR trails to be wheelchair friendly.
